The Fiji Under 21 Netball team has finished Day 2 of the Netball World Youth Cup in Botswana undefeated after a 48-35 win over Wales early this morning.
Fiji led 14‑8 after the first quarter and was able to extend it to 23-13 by half time.
The Baby Pearls had beaten Trinidad and Tobago 55-28 in their opening match of the tournament.
Fiji will have to finish in the top two in their pool to advance to the quarter finals but that will require them to win one more match.
Fiji’s third game will be against Grenada at 5am tomorrow and our last pool match will be against England at 1am Wednesday.
