Ba hammers Suva to qualify for IDC final

The Ba soccer team thrashed Suva 5-0 in the second semifinal of the Courts IDC at Churchill Park.

It just took 5 minutes for the Men in Black to find the back of the net via Junior Narendra Rao.

Ba did not give any room to Suva and kept attacking the Whites goalmouth when Samuela Nabenia scored the second goal in the 34th minute followed by Meli Codro’s goal 8 minutes later.

Ba led 3-0 till the breather.

Ba started the second half at the same pace and Nabenia scored his second in the 2nd minute to make it 4-0.

Junior Narendra Rao scored his 2nd goal and the final goal of the match.

In the first semifinal, Lautoka defeated Rewa 1-0 with a Christopher Wasasala goal.

Ba will face Lautoka at 2:30pm today in the Premier final and you can catch the live commentary of this match on Radio Sargam.

Meanwhile, in the Senior Division final Nadroga will take on Navua at 12:30pm today.

Nadroga thrashed Tailevu/Naitasiri 5-0 while Navua hammered Savusavu 4-1 in the semifinals.
