Forty athletes from four different sporting organizations will be representing Fiji for the first time at the 5th Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games.

Team Fiji today presented their i-Tatau to the President Jioji Konrote.

While addressing the athletes, Konrote reminded them that lack of resources should not be a barrier.

Apolonia Vaivai and Manueli Tulo will be medal prospects from weightlifting after their recent outing at the Oceania Championship last week after winning Gold medals.

Fiji will be represented in Athletics, Swimming, Weightlifting and Tennis.

Meanwhile 62 nations will be competing at the 5th Asian Indoor Martial Arts games which will start next Sunday.
