4 members of Series Championship team in Pacific Games extended squad

Four members of the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team that won back to back titles in the Paris and London 7s are part of the 18 member extended squad preparing for the Pacific Games next month.

Team’s manager Jone Niurua says they include Asaeli Tuivuaka, Isoa Tabu, Apenisa Cakaubalavu and Napolioni Bolaca.

Niurua says that preparations are going well with the players committing themselves to the task ahead of them.

Niurua says Head Coach Gareth Baber is currently in Taveuni to scout players for the upcoming HSBC Seven Series and also the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

The Pacific Games in Samoa will held from the 7th to the 20th of next month.
