Former All Black Luke McAlister has announced his retirement from the rugby at the age of 34 after spending the seven seasons in the Top 14.
McAlister, who can play at fly‑half or centre, began his career at the Blues in Super Rugby and had a stint at Sale Sharks before joining Toulouse (tolose) in 2011. He also spent time at Toulon and Clermont.
McAlister won 30 caps for the All Blacks and has a Super Rugby title, three Rugby Championships and a Top 14 crown to his name.
