13 yr/o gets gold for Fiji in swimming meet
13 year-old, Meli Malani has done wonders for the Fiji Swimming team by winning 2 gold medals and 1 bronze medal at the New Zealand 2010 Age Group Short Course Swimming Championships, which is currently being held in Wellington.

Malani took out gold in the 13 year old boys 50 metres breaststroke finals.

He also won gold in the 50m butterfly race and took out the bronze medal in the 100m race.

The Nabukadra lad of Ra is the only swimming athlete who qualified for the national event.

The tournament ends tomorrow.
