12 players from Nadroga team named in Fiji Warriors squad

12 players from Nadroga team named in Fiji Warriors squad

Twelve players from the BLK Nadroga side have been named in the Telecom Fiji Warriors team for the Americas Pacific Challenge next month.

The 12 Nadroga players are Iliesa Leca, Rupeni Nasiga, Nemani Nagusa, Vasikali Mudu, Sefanaia Nadruka, Eremasi Radrodro, Sakiusa Gavidi, Alivereti Veitokani, Eroni Vasiteri, Iferemi Tovilevu and Apete Daveta.

Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive John O’Connor says the Warriors will be hosted by the Uruguay Rugby Union in Montevideo, Uruguay from the 8 to the 16th of next month.

Other Unions that will participate in the tournament are USA, Canada, Argentina, Samoa and hosts Uruguay.

The Telecom Fiji Warriors are in Pool B, with Canada A and Uruguay A, while the Argentina Jaguars, USA A, and Samoa A are in Pool A.

The teams will play each side in their opposite pool once with the placing’s determined on total points after the three rounds.

Fiji Warriors will depart our shores on 3 October 2016.

The team is coached by Senirusi Seruvakula and assisted by Jonetani Waqa.
