Police have confirmed that their Internal Affairs Unit will investigate claims of alleged preferential treatment involving Imran Khan, also known as King Khan, during recent court proceedings.
This comes after fijivillage News captured a police officer shaking hands with Khan, while another officer was seen patting him on the back, in what appeared to be a friendly interaction.
While the media was waiting outside the courtroom yesterday, Khan was escorted out through a different exit after making a request.
Questions have been raised over whether Khan received preferential treatment, with concerns also emerging about possible connections between some police officers and Khan.
