Defending champions Nasea Sanatan have advanced to the quarter-finals of the CK Mega Bargain Labasa Sanatan Tournament 2026 after defeating Naleba Sanatan in a penalty shootout at Subrail Park.
The match ended goalless after regulation time, with both teams creating chances but failing to find the back of the net.
Naleba came close to breaking the deadlock when a powerful shot struck the post, while Nasea controlled possession with their short-passing game.
Naleba featured former Labasa representative Vikaran Chandra in attack, while former Seaqaqa representative Roneet produced a strong defensive performance to keep Nasea under pressure.
Nasea Sanatan captain and current Nasinu representative Shalvesh Singh says his side is pleased to have advanced to the quarter-finals.
He says they are taking one game at a time.
Meanwhile, Fiji international Roy Krishna helped Emily Sanatan secure a victory over Cogeloa Shiv Shakti Sanatan, scoring a stunning 40-yard strike in their knockout match.
Dogoloa produced an impressive performance and created several chances but could not find an equaliser before the final whistle.
However, Emily Sanatan will be without Krishna for their quarter-final clash against Nasea Sanatan after the Fiji star was sent off after receiving his second yellow card of the match.
The highly anticipated quarter-final between Emily Sanatan and Nasea Sanatan will be played this evening at Subrail Park.
