Youth on the island of Taveuni will no longer have to worry about the timely arrival of their monthly reports to Ministry of Youth and Sports divisional offices.
This follows the Cakaudrove Provincial Youth Council receiving a desktop computer from the Ministry.
While handing over the desktop computer, Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou said this computer will take the pressure off the provincial youth level in administering their service.
Taveuni youth coordinator Anare Sikoa said that it was one of the things that they needed for the smooth operation of the administration council.
Sikoa said the donation is indeed timely as the response from interested youth to register their youth clubs as well as sending in their monthly reports which are usually clogged up due to the lack of good computers.
He added that the computer will definitely improve the way they manage youth work and will assist their administration at the provincial level.
