The Central Region Pathfinder Fair 2025 was officially opened with a reminder of the importance of guiding children in their early years, as they are the future of Fiji.

The Pathfinder Club, a global movement of the Seventh-day Adventist Church established in 1950, now has more than 1.5 million members across over 160 countries.

While speaking at the event, Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro emphasised that the Pathfinder movement is active in many communities and is currently being trialled in selected schools in the Central Division.

Radrodro says the Government is committed to working with communities and faith-based groups, such as the Pathfinders, to support children’s holistic development.

He adds that the Pathfinder program, now integrated into some schools, has been praised for instilling life skills, leadership, resilience, and character—qualities needed to build responsible future leaders of Fiji.
