Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka
With suspicions and concerns rising on whether the Cakaudrove group is trying to hold onto power and control the People’s Alliance Party, Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka says this is speculation on the part of some people, and if these people have any substantive complaints, they should take these to the proper authorities.

When asked by fijivillage News on what he has to say to people who are getting uncertain about this situation, Rabuka has asked who are these people and what are they getting uncertain about.

When asked on comments on issues being raised that the current Acting FICAC Commissioner is allegedly related to Rabuka, he says he is not aware that the Acting Commissioner of FICAC is a relative of his.

We have also asked him on what steps will he take if the decision is made that proper procedures were not followed in the appointment of the current Acting FICAC Commissioner.

The Prime Minister says this is a matter for the Judicial Services Commission, not Government to decide.
