Fiji's oldest bank, Westpac Fiji will commence significant renovations from tomorrow, Friday, 27th February at its main Suva Branch, reinforcing its commitment to investing in the local community and enhancing the everyday banking experience for its customers.

Westpac Fiji says the upgrade comes as Fiji’s historic bank at Thomson Street seeks to make banking simpler and more efficient while giving customers greater choice on how they manage their finances.

They say the refurbishment will feature a modernised layout, improved accessibility, and upgraded facilities designed to make everyday banking faster and more convenient, alongside the continued availability of expert in-person support from Westpac staff.

Westpac says the branch will remain open and fully operational throughout the renovation period, ensuring customers can continue to access all essential banking services without disruption.

Westpac Fiji Chief Executive, Shane Smith says the investment reinforces the bank’s long-term commitment to its customers and the wider community.

Smith says they are excited to bring a refreshed and modern banking environment to their Thomson Street customers.

He says while the branch will look different over the coming months, their service remains the same, reliable, accessible and customer-focused.

The Chief Executive Officer says they appreciate their customers’ patience as they create a better banking experience for everyone.

He says as the project progresses, updates will be shared via Westpac Fiji’s social media channels.

Smith says Westpac looks forward to welcoming customers into the upgraded Suva Branch once works are complete and continuing to deliver better banking experiences for individuals, families, and businesses across Fiji.
