Waterspout damages property in Sigatoka

At least one property has been destroyed due to a waterspout along the Coral Coast, Sigatoka area at about midday today.

The Nadi Weather Office says it was witnessed along the Votua and Baravi areas.

They say it is an isolated event and the water spout has dissipated.

The Office says favourable conditions during a thunderstorm can form a water spout.
