UB40 concert draws over 5,000 fans in Tonga

UB40, featuring Ali Campbell, performed their biggest hits at Teufaiva Stadium in Nuku'alofa last night, marking their return to Tonga after 20 years.

The concert drew over 5,000 fans, the majority of whom were young people.

The crowd sang and danced along to iconic hits such as "Cherry Oh Baby," "Maybe Tomorrow," and "Groovin’."


Meanwhile, the UB40 Ft Ali Campbell Big Love Tour will perform at King Charles Park in Nadi tomorrow from 2pm to 10pm.

New Zealand reggae legends Katchafire will also perform


The band will be supported by local acts Paradise Rootz, Nicky & Ouvacast and DJ Vibez.

Excited fans have already planned their getaway to Nadi for the big night.
