TSLS urges students to apply early for 2026 scholarships

The Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service is reminding students to submit their scholarship applications for the 2026 academic year before the 31st of January deadline.

TSLS says processing of applications began on the 5th of January 2026, and students are advised to apply as soon as they receive their final offer letters from higher education institutions, as provisional offer letters will not be accepted.

They add that scholarship awards are primarily based on academic ranking, except for schemes that require interviews or aptitude tests.

TSLS says students who do not secure a place in their preferred scheme may be offered alternative scholarship options.

TSLS adds that offices in Suva, Lautoka, Nadi and Labasa are available to provide guidance and assistance to students.

TSLS emphasizes that early submission is important to maximise the chances of securing a scholarship.

TSLS highlights that the applicants can submit their applications through the official online portal at https://apply.tsls.com.fj.
