Donald Trump says Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has been killed by US-Israeli strikes on Tehran.
The US president wrote on social media that it is "justice" for "the people of Iran", Americans, and "people from many countries throughout the world".
He adds "this is the single greatest chance for the Iranian people to take back their country", adding that many Iranian forces "no longer want to fight".
Before and after satellite images reveal damage to Khamenei's compound in Tehran.
The US and Israel launched attacks across the country - Israel earlier identified seven officials it says it has killed, not including the supreme leader
In response, Iran launched attacks throughout the Middle East. Apparent Iranian strikes have been reported in Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, and Kuwait - places with US military bases, or that are allied to the US
The Red Crescent says more than 200 people have been killed across Iran.
