Trial date for Thakor Punja to be set next Friday

The trial date for Thakor Punja will be set next Friday by the Suva Magistrates Court.

Punja is charged with one count each of unlawful possession of 0.84 grams of methamphetamine, 5.447 grams of cocaine and 6.6 grams of marijuana.

He appeared before Magistrate Yogesh Prasad this morning.

Punja is represented by Samuela Heritage while the State is represented by Eoghn Samisoni.

Both parties made their submissions this morning.
