The game plan now is to win the remaining matches and push into the top six, says Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Coach Glen Jackson, as they look to bounce back from their recent defeat to the Queensland Reds.
The Fijian Drua are currently placed 9th on the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific points table.
Speaking to the media this week, Jackson says he acknowledges the disappointment within the squad following last weekend’s 21-6 loss but stresses that the focus has firmly shifted to their upcoming clash against the Blues tomorrow.
Jackson says the team continues to grow and learn as a relatively young squad, with an emphasis on improving week by week.
He notes that whether the lessons come from wins or losses, the key is ensuring the side is better with each outing.
The Drua coach admits that the team fell short of expectations against the Reds but says those shortcomings are being used as motivation heading into the next match.
