After a strong showing at last year’s tournament, Toba Volleyball Club will head into the New Year with a determined mindset as they look to defend the Tui Suva Trophy this week.

Despite bowing out in the quarter-finals last week during the Inoke Mocelutu and Jone Koroi trophy tournament at Suvavou Village, the team is confident they will return with a revised game plan and renewed focus.

Speaking to fijivillag Sports, senior team member Tailasa Taka says the Tui Suva Trophy holds significant meaning for the team, and the players are fully committed to doing whatever it takes to retain the title this year.

The games will be held at Suvavou Village on New Year’s Day.
