The Then India Sanmarga Ikya (TISI) Sangam is carrying out major restoration works on key temples as part of its 100-year celebrations.
TISI Sangam says while the Centennial Torch Relay continues to unite communities across the country, significant restoration work is also underway within temple grounds.
The organisation confirms that the repainting of the Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Kovil in Nadi has now been completed, with attention now shifting to the Sri Raja Maha Mariamman Tiru Kovil in Suva.

Sangam says the work goes beyond simple renovations and is aimed at preserving cultural and religious heritage.
They say expert artisans from Tamil Nadu, India have been brought in to ensure the highest level of traditional accuracy in the restoration process.

The organisation adds that these efforts are a key part of its centennial activities and will help ensure that temples continue to serve as places of peace and cultural significance for future generations.
