Tertiary students charged with Nauluvatu murder remanded

The three tertiary students who were charged with the murder of a 30-year-old man at Nauluvatu on Sunday morning have been remanded in custody.

Aisake Lovobalavu, Alexander Vatia Leweniqila, and Manoa Vakavunivalu appeared before Suva Magistrate Charles Ratakele today, jointly charged with murder.

Their case will be called again next Friday, the 27th of this month, for bail.

Police say the three were last seen drinking with the deceased at Nauluvatu on Sunday morning, just before his body was discovered.
