Swire Shipping Fijian Drua forwards coach, Chris Gibbes says they were a little bit disappointed with this year's results after finishing tenth out of eleven teams in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition.
Gibbes says while they did have some really good growth moments, the reflection part for the team was around making sure they turn up to this pre-season and heading into 2026 with a better mindset and attitude.
He says it also comes down to the willingness of the team to put some work in and that is what they have been focusing on over the last six or seven weeks.

The forwards coach says that part is exciting and they have enjoyed that they have got their FIJI Water Flying Fijian boys back in training.
The Drua will play the Chiefs in a pre-season matchup at Blake Park in Mount Maunganui at 3pm on January 30.
They then return to Fiji to take on a Provincial Select team on Friday 6th February 2026 at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
The Drua will host Moana Pasifika at Churchill Park in Lautoka in their first match for the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season.
