Students can redeem eTransport cards as Term 1 top-ups are released

Students can redeem their eTransport cards for Term 1, 2026, as top-ups have been completed and the cards are now ready for collection.

Government says redemption of Blue Subsidised Cards will roll out today at Vodafone outlets and designated District Offices.

Students are encouraged to redeem their cards promptly in preparation for the start of school.

Students must also apply for the Transport Assistance Initiative each year by completing the Transport Assistance application form in order to receive eTransport top-ups or Rural Service License vouchers.

The Ministry of Education has allocated top-up funds to cover the first seven weeks of Term 1, with further top-up provided in Week 8 to ensure continued support for students until the end of Term 1.

Government says this initiative aims to prevent misuse of the cards.

Ministry of Education eTransport redemption sites include Harbour Front Building in Suva, Keasuna Building in Sigatoka, River House in Nausori, Roqoroqoivuda House in Lautoka, Koronubu House in Ba Town, Kalawati Building in Rakiraki Town, Roqomate House in Labasa Town, Gulabdash Building in Savusavu Town, and Bucalevu Secondary School in Taveuni.

For any issues relating to eTransport cards, students are encouraged to contact the Transport Assistance Unit on 3314478 or email ta.helpdesk@govnet.gov.fj.
