Yaro Chiefs wing Tomasi Stark is excited to be selected as part of the extended squad for the Fiji Airways National Men’s 7s team as they gear up for the Vancouver 7s early next month.

Stark attended Gaunavou Primary School in Naviti, Yasawa, before later enrolling at Yasawa Secondary School for Year 9.

Stark says he was at the Lautoka Wharf when his father received the call informing him that he had been selected for the extended squad.

He says his goal is to one day represent Fiji by wearing the white jersey.

Stark also acknowledged the management of the Yaro Chiefs for giving him the opportunity to be part of the team and says another door has now opened with his selection to the extended squad.

He adds that he will continue to work hard, as he expects strong competition for the wing position.
