Skipper Select names team to face Drua

Anare Tabakaucoro, Douglas Daveta, and Aminiasi Naituiyaga Junior are some of the standout performers from the Skipper Cup Competition this year who have been selected in the Skipper Select team to face the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua in preparation for the 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.

The Fiji Rugby Union says this exciting fixture brings together top talent from provincial unions across Fiji, showcasing depth, skill, and passion as the Skipper Select prepare for a tough challenge against the Drua.

They say fans can look forward to an action-packed afternoon of rugby, with the squad led by an experienced coaching and management team.

The Skipper select teams include Aisake Atani, Nedley Grant, Seremaia Komailevuka, Joeli Nainoca, Inoke Ravuiwasa, Josefa Nasaroa, Michael Ferei, Nadidi Taginiselala, Isaia Lotowa, Marika Natau, Malikeli Matanisiga, Isaia Rugu, Sakiusa Vosayaco, Ro Kaveni Seru, Ravuama Tuimacou, Aminiasi Naituiyaga, Napolioni Batimala, Meli Buinimasi, Etonia Rokotuisawa, Iliesa Bete, Onisimo Nawalu, Apimeleki Nasalo, Joseva Tamata, Sevuloni Lutu, Esala Nalobo, Tomasi Tawake, Sakaraia Sokonakalou, Ponipate Tuberi.

The Rupeni Nasiga coached side will face the Drua on the 6th of February at Churchill Park in Lautoka at 3pm.
