Shahid Kapoor’s O Romeo hits theaters today with an ‘A’ certificate from the CBFC after dialogue tweaks and edits to violent scenes.
The film, starring Triptii Dimri, Vikrant Massey, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Nana Patekar, tells a turbulent love story inspired by Hussain Zaidi’s Mafia Queens of Mumbai, with Kapoor portraying gangster Hussain Ustara.
The release comes after a legal challenge from Ustara’s daughter, which a Mumbai court dismissed, allowing the film to proceed.
