The Republic of Fiji Military Forces assures that all Fijian soldiers currently deployed in the Middle East are safe and all accounted for, and none have been directly affected by the recent escalation involving Iran, the United States and Israel.
The RFMF says based on the latest security assessment, current hostilities remain localised to specific operational targets and have not impacted areas where Fijian personnel are stationed.
They say there are no confirmed threats directed at Fijian contingents.
They also say they continue to closely monitor the evolving situation through official intelligence channels and maintain appropriate force protection measures to ensure the safety and welfare of all deployed personnel.
The RFMF says families and members of the public are encouraged to remain calm and rely on official RFMF updates for accurate information.
