Iferemi Rawaqa appointed as Assistant forwards coach and National contact coach

Ifereimi Rawaqa has just been announced as the Assistant Forwards Coach for the FIJI Water Flying Fijians and the Head of Contact for the national team.

Flying Fijians Coach Mick Byrne says Rawaqa joined them halfway through the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup and also joined the team for the Autumn Tour.

Byrne says he has been working with Rawaqa since he arrived in Fiji in 2022 at the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua, and has seen the growth and presence he has around the players.

Rawaqa says he is grateful for the opportunity and the trust shown by Byrne in him.

The new assistant forwards coach says he is looking forward to his new role and working with Fiji Rugby.
