The 18-year-old student, Simo Nadavelevu Boladrau of Queen Victoria School will be discharged today from CWM Hospital and is expected to recover at his home in Nailaga Village in Ba.

However, Police have not yet taken his statement regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident at QVS last Wednesday.

Police say investigators will obtain his statement when he is ready and cleared to do so.

Boladrau was run over by a vehicle inside the school compound, where the car was allegedly being driven by a teacher who was learning to drive with another teacher in the passenger seat providing instructions.

Boladrau says the incident occurred at around 4pm last Wednesday after their house meeting, and he was rushing to the gym for their session.
