Christmas is a time when families and communities across Fiji come together to rest and reflect on shared values of care, fairness, and responsibility towards one another.

National Federation Party Leader, Professor Biman Prasad says for Christians, the birth of Christ marks Christmas, reminding us of the importance of humility, compassion, and service.

Professor Biman says these values are deeply rooted in Fiji’s social fabric and align closely with the National Federation Party’s long-standing commitment to inclusion, social justice, and equal opportunity.

He says that for the NFP, this season provides an opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to unity, inclusion, and practical leadership.

He adds that NFP remains focused on policies that bring people together, strengthen trust in institutions, and improve the everyday lives of ordinary Fijians through responsible economic management and fair social development.

The NFP Leader also states that as they look toward the year ahead, the party will continue to engage constructively with all communities and stakeholders, with a focus on building a stable, inclusive, and confident Fiji, where opportunity is shared and progress is guided by cooperation, respect, and accountability.

Professor Prasad adds that on behalf of the NFP, he extends best wishes to all Fijians for a safe and peaceful Christmas, and hopes this season brings renewed strength and hope to families and communities, and that the year ahead will be one of stability, cooperation, and progress for the nation.
