Police seeking assistance in locating 16-year-old Unaisi Tuvakalea and 17-year-old Joana Wativo

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two sisters who have been reported missing in Lami.

Police say 17-year-old Joana Wativo and 16-year-old Unaisi Tuvakalea were reported missing at the Lami Police Station this morning.

According to police, Unaisi has been missing from home since 31st December, 2025, while Joana left home on 2nd January, 2026.

Police say both girls have failed to communicate their whereabouts since leaving home.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen the sisters or has information that could assist with the investigation to come forward.

Members of the public can contact Crimestoppers on 919 or the Southern Division Command Centre on 9905 529.
