A police officer has been injured while Land Transport Authority and Police were conducting an operation in Labasa Town last night.
Eyewitnesses say the officers were attempting to stop a truck when the driver failed to stop, resulting in an accident.
The injured police officer was taken to Labasa Hospital.
Questions have been sent to the Fiji Police Force.
