Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama today launched the latest Fiji Coconut Millers Limited product, the Fiji Coconut Cooking Oil.

While unveiling the product and commissioning the new Edible Oil Mill in Savusavu, Bainimarama says the cold-pressed cooking oil is perfect for adding the proven health benefits of coconut oil to anyone’s diet.

Bainimarama says people’s health will certainly benefit from the addition of healthy fats, like coconut oil, rather than highly processed oils and other foods.

The Prime Minister has urged Fiji Coconut Millers Limited, and the farmers, to think even bigger about the possibilities for this new product, and the potential of their new brand.

Bainimarama says alongside this new product, they are proudly welcoming a $386,000 investment into its production – a quarter million of which is supplied directly by government
