To deter illegal dumping activities in the Nausori area, the Nausori Town Council has installed CCTV cameras at identified illegal dumping hotspots.
The Council is strongly advising members of the public to stop illegal dumping and to strictly follow the scheduled timetable for household rubbish collection and white goods collection as provided by the Council.
They say that any person found engaging in illegal dumping will be dealt with accordingly, and heavy fines will be imposed by the Council’s Litter Officers.
They add that everyone should work together to keep the town clean, safe, and healthy for all.
