PC: Nasinu Town Council

Youths in Nasinu are being equipped to lead change in their communities through a groundbreaking one-week training programme focused on waste management, health, social issues, and leadership skills.

The Nasinu Town Council says this initiative is the first of its kind to be conducted by a municipal council, demonstrating its leadership and commitment to youth development, environmental stewardship, and community well-being.

It says the programme is empowering the youths of Nasinu with the knowledge, skills, and sense of purpose needed to become environmental champions and ambassadors of positive change within their communities.

They say through practical learning and awareness, participants are being equipped to promote responsible behaviour, healthy lifestyles, and sustainable environmental practices.

The Council says this initiative is helping shape responsible future leaders, strengthen community ownership, protect the environment, and build a cleaner, safer, and more resilient Nasinu.
