Bula Football Club has secured McDonald’s Fiji as its first official sponsor ahead of its debut season in the 2026 Professional League, marking a significant milestone in the club’s journey as Fiji’s newest professional football team.

The partnership brings together a globally recognised brand and an emerging local franchise, united by shared values of community engagement, youth development and national pride through sport.

McDonald’s Fiji Managing Director, Marc McElrath
says the company is proud to support Bula FC in its inaugural season.

He says football is a sport that truly unites people in Fiji, and seeing a professional franchise like Bula FC take shape is a major win for the country.

McElrath adds that the partnership is not just about a logo on a jersey, but about supporting local talent and ensuring the club has the right backing to make the nation proud in the 2026 season.

Bula FC Chief Commercial Officer, Naziah Ali Krishna has welcomed the partnership, saying that having a global brand like McDonald’s Fiji is incredibly meaningful.

She says the partnership goes beyond football and is about building something families can connect with, something young people can aspire to, and something the entire country can take pride in.

The club believes the partnership provides a strong foundation for its inaugural season and reflects growing confidence in the future of professional football in Fiji.
