Labasa Hospital renovations force temporary service changes

Members of the public in the Northern Division are advised that Labasa Hospital is currently undergoing renovation works.

The Ministry of Health stated that as a result, some health care services will be temporarily relocated, effective from today, the labour ward has been temporarily relocated to the Diabetic Hub.

Diabetic Hub services have been moved to the HITH Hub (Old Outpatient Department), the HITH Hub has been relocated to the Chapel at the Post Basic Unit, while the Gynecology/Female Surgical Ward services will be accommodated in the DLI Ward.

The Ministry apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this period.
