As Extra Bula FC prepares for their next OFC Pro League match, head coach Stephane Auvray is calling on his players to maintain a high level of focus and professionalism throughout the campaign, not just in moments.

He says that while the team showed a strong mindset going into their 2-all draw with Vanuatu United FC, maintaining that focus over a full campaign is unfamiliar territory for some of his younger players.

Auvray adds that this is something he will be closely monitoring in the days ahead, as the squad adjusts to the realities of playing in a professional setup.

He says one key advantage the squad has is the way players from across the globe have come together to form a tight-knit unit.

The team is made up of players based in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and France, including Auvray’s own son.

Auvray says that during and even after the game, you could see the support the players gave each other which speaks volumes about their unity.

Bula FC will take on South Island United at 2pm tomorrow at North Harbour Stadium in Auckland.

The team will wrap up Round 1 with a clash against Auckland FC on Friday at 6pm, also at North Harbour Stadium.
