High-stakes showdown as Labasa chase comeback against Rewa

Labasa FC faces a must-win showdown against Rewa FC at Subrail Park in the next hour, with the Pillay Garments Champion vs Champion title hanging in the balance after last week’s narrow one-goal defeat.

Coach Alvin Chand told fijivillage News that the fixture has evolved into one of the most thrilling match-ups in Fijian football.

The stakes could not be higher for the Babasiga Lions, as Labasa must defeat Rewa by two clear goals to claim the title.
