A heavy rain warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji.

The Nadi Weather Office says heavy rain may lead to flash flooding of low-lying and flood-prone areas.

They say there will be occasional to periods of rain, heavy at times, with a few thunderstorms over most places.

They also stated that flash flooding is expected in flood-prone low-lying informal settlements and communities, businesses and Irish crossings, leading to traffic disruptions and surface flooding on streets in urban areas with poor drainage.

The Nadi Weather Office add that wet roads and reduced visibility, especially during heavy rain, will increase the risk of road accidents.
