Several areas in the Central Division are experiencing power outages following adverse weather conditions over the past 12 to 18 hours.
Energy Fiji Limited says its teams are actively working to restore supply in a systematic and safe manner, and all affected EFL account holders have been notified of the disruptions via SMS.
They add that restoration efforts are ongoing, and they hope that improving weather conditions will allow for faster repairs.
EFL apologises for the inconvenience and is urging residents to stay safe during the heavy rain.
