Several areas in the Central Division, including Tacirua East, Vatuwaqa, and most parts of Nasinu and Nausori, are experiencing power outages following adverse weather conditions over the past 12 to 18 hours.
Energy Fiji Limited says their teams are actively working to restore supply in a systematic and safe manner, and all affected EFL account holders have been notified of the disruptions via SMS.
They add that restoration efforts are ongoing, and they hope that improving weather conditions will allow for faster repairs.
When questioned by fijivillage News about when electricity supply will be restored, EFL says they cannot provide a timeframe as of now.
EFL apologises for the inconvenience and is urging residents to stay safe during the heavy rain.
