Police continue to heavily monitor the shipping vessels coming in from Kadavu after recent incidents of people caught bringing in marijuana to Suva from Kadavu.
fijivillage News has been informed that stringent checks are being conducted on the vessels when people arrive into Suva.
This includes the use of sniffer dogs.
Reliable sources confirm some staff from certain organisations were caught with dried leaves believed to be marijuana.
Full details are not available as yet but the operations by Police clearly indicate a no-nonsense approach by Police.
When contacted by fijivillage News, Police have confirmed that four men were arrested in Sunday's raid conducted by the joint team from the Central, Southern and K9 teams.
