French Navy Vessel BASOM d'Entrecasteaux was in Suva this week.
The Republic of Fiji Navy says the vessel called in early due to operational reasons and during its deployment it had Fiji Navy and Ministry of Fisheries sea riders onboard as part of joint operations to secure our blue Pacific.
They say this engagement enhances interoperability and enhances maritime security cooperation amongst security partners.
