A total of 1,487 free heart screenings were conducted for children by Shree Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital Fiji during an outreach programme at Dilkusha Primary School in Nausori this month.
The hospital’s medical team carried out comprehensive heart checks to support the early detection of congenital and acquired heart conditions among students.
The hospital says early diagnosis is important to protect children’s health and allow timely medical treatment where needed.
