Education is not only what you know it is who you become. This was highlighted by Sevens Legend, Waisele Serevi during the Fiji National University Graduation at the Vodafone Arena this morning.Serevi says that our rapidly changing local, regional, and global environment demands that we revisit, research, and revive the ancient knowledge of our people. He adds that the resilience of our citizens, how they engage themselves, form sustainability, build communities, and how they adapt to cycles, roads, and scarcity is knowledge of immense value today.

Serevi emphasises that modern science and indigenous wisdom must walk hand in hand.He further says that humanities and education teach us why we live the way we live, how communities thrive, and what purpose sustains a nation. The Legend is reminding all graduates to be respectful, humble, hardworking, and faithful irrespective of ethnicity, age, gender, race, or religion.
