Some domestic flights were affected this morning as passengers in a FijiLink flight experienced bad turbulence while landing at Nadi International Airport.
The flight landed safely however the passengers had to remain in the plane for some time as ground operations were suspended on the tarmac due to heavy rain and lightning.

Fiji Airways and Fiji Link has advised people that due to the current weather conditions associated with Tropical Cyclone Vaianu, a number of flights to and from Fiji on Fiji Airways may be disrupted due to adverse weather conditions.
They say their teams will be in direct contact with all impacted guests to confirm updated travel arrangements and provide assistance.
Fiji Airways says the safety of their passengers and crew remains their highest priority.
