People are urged to take precautionary measures as a flash flood warning and a heavy rain warning are now in force for the whole of Fiji.
The Fiji Meteorological Service says a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain continues to affect the Fiji group.
They say a shallow low pressure system continues to drift over the southern parts of the group over the next couple of days, embedded along an active trough of low pressure that remains slow-moving over Fiji.
There will be occasional rain and a few thunderstorms over most places.
Possible impacts include flooding of flood-prone and low-lying informal settlements and communities, businesses, and Irish crossings, which may result in traffic disruptions.
Slippery road surfaces may lead to hazardous driving conditions, an increased risk of accidents, and travel delays, particularly in low-lying or poorly drained areas.
Meanwhile, Tropical Depression 03F remains slow-moving to the far northwest of Fiji, close to Vanuatu.
