Former Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum

Former Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is claiming that fijivillage.com is running stories on him being questioned based on comments made by various Police officers contrary to what he is being told however Police stand by their statement that Sayed-Khaiyum was brought in for questioning with regards to the complaint lodged by the Acting Supervisor of Elections.

Police had released the statement when Sayed-Khaiyum was being questioned at Valelevu Police Station.

Chief of Intelligence and Investigations, Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Sakeo Raikaci says while they cannot go into detail as investigations are ongoing, they can confirm that Sayed-Khaiyum was brought in for questioning in relation to the complaint lodged by the Acting SOE.
