The players have adopted a different approach in their preparations for the Singapore 7s, focusing on increasing the intensity of training and overall tournament readiness.

This was confirmed by Fiji Airways Fijiana National 7s Coach Richard Walker from Singapore today.

Walker says the players are in high spirits and are eager for this weekend’s matches.

He adds the Coral Coast 7s served as an excellent build-up, providing the much-needed intensity and a strong platform leading into Singapore 7s.

Walker says the team is ready to face their tough opponents this week and believes that, with the calibre of players in the squad, they can get the job done by taking it one game at a time.

The Fijiana play Australia in their first pool game at 3.26pm Saturday, they then play the USA at 6.30pm, before facing Japan at 9.56pm Saturday.

The Women's Cup semi finals kick off at 6.08pm Sunday, with the Cup final at 11.05pm.
